Incompetech Royalty Free Music: Here you can find a mixture of music genres you can download.
Looperman: Free Vocal loops and samples
Music Internet Archive: Here you can find a variety of copyright free music. The search engine is a little confusing so it may take a few tries to find what you're looking for. But hey, its free.
Musopen: Here you can download copyright free music you can sample from. Genre: Mostly Classical
Pettinhouse: Many free NI Kontakt sample packs
Professional Kontakt Buildz: Many free 3rd party NI Kontakt packs (you'll need the full version of Kontakt to load them)
Real Drum Samples: Many free drum samples of actual hardware units
Rekkerd Sounds: free samples, VST's and other music news
Sampleswap: Simple directory of many sample packs.
Stonewashed Free Music: Copyright free music and samples. This site changes often so you'll just have to check it out and see what they have

Blue Cat Audio: A few good free VST's as well as some advanced products. Check them out and see if you like them
Best Free Synths: Here you'll find several free VST synths . . . from additive to subtrative and everything in between. There are presets for some of them as well.
BetaBugs: Weird name but they have a few interesting VST's
de la Mancha: Many free effects and synth plugins
Digital Fish Phones: Many free effects and synth plugins(Mac and AU)
E-phonic: A couple free vst's
Flux: Here you can find a few slick looking free VST's for your DAW as well as some trial software
Jeroen Breebaart: Here you can find some free VST's as well as some articls on software and general music production.
Kjaerhus Audio: Weird name, but they have great VST's. Even the free one's are good. Definitely check them out.
Kresearch: Free and payware plugins.
KVR Audio: Here you can find a wide selection of Free and Demo(before you buy) VST's. If you can't find what you're looking for here, it probably doesn't exist. They also feature a few news articles to keep you updated on the music production world.
Madtracker: Database full of plugins and links to plugins. Many of them are free or available in Demo form
Storm Recording: Free VST's: Here you can find a couple free VST's for your DAW. Try them out and see if you like them
Tweakbench: Variety of free VST plugins
Pro AudioUnit and VST plugins: Here you'll find some of the best VST's and Audio Units for your DAW at competitive prices. Crunchessor, Voxformer, and Elephant are three of my favorites. They offer Demo's for almost every product, so try them out. There's also some free ones.

Hip Hop is Read: Is a site dedicated to new hip hop music and news. You can find mixtapes, EP's, album info and other details about underground and mainstream artist.
Hoodgrown Online: They have some great free mixtapes from underground and mainstream artist.
Future Producers: Some of the info from the posters can be a little hit or miss, but if you're looking to set up a home "studio" or need help starting in music production, it's a good place to start
Moulton Labs: Helpful articles on music recording and production.
Music Think Tank: Info and news about the music industry which includes blogs, videos, articles.
Urban-Nation: Hip Hop Music videos, Soul Music videos, Rap Music Videos, Soul and Rap Music News . . . Urban-Nation is one of the best website for new urban music, new urban artists, cool profiles, grime music and hip hop music. They offer online music videos, music news at Urban-Nation.com.
